Become a Member of Killarney Triathlon Club Today!
To join Killarney Triathlon Club, there are 2 steps to take.
1. Register with Triathlon Ireland
Membership opens every year from mid-October.
If you are new to triathlon you will first create an account with Triathlon Ireland (TI). You will choose the kind of license you wish to purchase: a ‘Club Training’ license or a ‘Race’ license.
A ‘Club Training License’ provides you with insurance cover for club organised training sessions/events only. A ‘Race License’ provides you with insurance cover for all your training sessions (club organised or your own sessions) as well as insurance cover for any duathlon/triathlon races you take part in. In 2026, a training license costs €50 and a race license costs €99.50. There is a discounted offering for people under 23 years of age. If you choose a ‘Club Training License’ but then go on to register for a triathlon event you can purchase a ‘One Day License’ for that specific event at an approximate cost of €20-€30.
2. Choose a Club.
Once you have selected your license the 2nd step is to choose a club. Use the filter to find Killarney Triathlon Club. The cost of joining our club in 2026 is €40. Once you have paid for both your license and club membership you will receive a confirmation email. You will then be added to our club WhatsApp Community.

Auto-Renewal
For existing members of Killarney Triathlon Club it is important to know that TI have introduced auto-renewal of their membership. Therefore, your TI membership will automatically renew (as per your previous years TI license) every October unless you ‘opt out’. You can opt out of auto-renewal on the membership section of your profile on the TI website. For anyone who has selected auto-renewal please note that your club membership does NOT automatically renew and you must manually renew your club membership each year.
